At SitePlan, we are revolutionizing infrastructure construction with our surveying and geodocumentation app. SitePlan is already being used by major companies such as Deutsche Bahn, STRABAG, PORR and many other construction companies and engineering firms.

Our vision is to lead the digital transformation for the construction, planning and operation of our infrastructure - the lifelines of our society - by radically simplifying surveying and making it accessible to everyone.

For the further expansion of our digital product platform, we are looking for reinforcement in the area of software development:

That's what you do with us:

• You develop and maintain scalable APIs and microservices based on Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB and AWS - and play an active role in shaping our technical architecture.
• You will work on the further development of our web application with Angular and ensure seamless interaction between the frontend, backend and mobile app.
• You take responsibility for complete product slices in the shape-up process and independently bring your solutions from the idea to production.
• You ensure high quality standards through code reviews, automated tests and CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices in engineering.
• You will work closely with our web and mobile team to implement innovative product features for GPS surveying, geodata processing and digital construction documentation.
• You take ownership of technical decisions, actively contribute new ideas and help to further expand our strong, pragmatic and doer-oriented engineering environment.
• You will work in a small, experienced engineering team (web & mobile) with plenty of creative freedom and short decision-making paths.

Ideally, you bring this with you:

(but not all of this is a must!)

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Java development
• Expertise in Spring Boot, NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and AWS services (ECS Fargate, S3, Networking)
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools
• Practical experience in the design and development of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Sound understanding of software development principles, design patterns and best practices
• Security and clean processes are important to us - we work in an ISO27001-compliant environment and support you when you join us 😉
• Excellent German, good English

You don't have to fulfill all the criteria - it's more important to us that you want to take on responsibility and familiarize yourself with new topics.

What you can expect from us:

• Starting salary from EUR 4,000 gross based on full-time (38.5 hours per week) with a clear willingness to pay significantly more depending on qualifications and professional experience
• Flexible working arrangements that allow you to work where you are most productive (hybrid working model with remote/home office and shared office in Wels, Upper Austria)
